We can measure forests from space, map individual trees, model growth, plan harvesting and trace timber through increasingly sophisticated supply chains. The gap MyForestPass addresses is continuity: what connects what we knew about a forest years ago with the professional decision that followed, the intervention subsequently undertaken, the outcome observed later, and the next person responsible for that same forest?
MyForestPass is Forest Evidence Infrastructure — a persistent, versioned and transferable evidence record connecting the forest to its assessments, decisions, operations, timber, compliance evidence and outcomes.
Evidence accumulates around the forest itself, through time and across owners, foresters, consultants, contractors, decisions, interventions, timber flows, compliance requirements and outcomes.

MyForestPass is a common digital operating, evidence and intelligence framework. Every pathway below is declared in a versioned registry and runs the same workflow in the Pathway Centre — assess, plan, approve, deliver, monitor, evidence, report — while adding its own assessment criteria, evidence requirements and reporting. Continuous Cover Forestry is the first pathway with a dedicated scored methodology; the others run today as beta or evidence-led workflows while their specialist models are developed.

How a Passport is read
A forest decision starts with the land and ends with an outcome that can still be explained years later. MyForestPass holds that whole line in one record. Each layer below states what is available today, what is available but awaiting validation, what is built but blocked on something outside the platform, and what is still being built.

The public passport is a persistent evidence record. It is not a licence, certificate, approval or statement of regulatory compliance. Wallet installation is built end to end but stays preview-only until Apple signing certificates and a Google Wallet issuer key are supplied; QR and NFC reading work today without them.
Bring in the land, judge whether the evidence is fit for the question, then compare pathways on the same basis.
All twelve pathways run today through the pathway framework — declaration, workflow, evidence and reporting. Only Continuous Cover Forestry has a dedicated scored model (CCFPI), and its weights have not been independently validated.

Compliance output states whether evidence requirements are met for the assessed rule version. It is not a regulatory determination, and MyForestPass is not integrated with, endorsed by or acting for any authority.

Telemetry ingestion is available now for any device that can authenticate to the documented endpoint. Connectors for specific vendors are not shipped and arrive one vendor at a time.

Traceability describes the custody events recorded on the platform. Events that were never recorded are not covered, and no chain is independently audited by MyForestPass.

The QGIS plugin is complete and installable from the packaged file; it is not yet published to the official QGIS plugin repository. Branch Exchange carries no financial custody and issues no carbon credits.

EU-readiness reports structural readiness from the records held; it is not a compliance determination. Quantitative models are deterministic and tested, but growth, valuation, carbon, extraction accuracy and ecosystem coefficients have not been independently validated — treat them as decision support. Point-cloud files can be ingested and reviewed today; automated processing at volume depends on a deployed processing worker.
The layers share one identity, permission and history model, so a decision taken on a stand today can still be read back — with its evidence, its reviewer and its rule version — by an auditor, a regulator or the next manager. What is not usable yet is listed separately below.
Production capability is set out in the platform architecture above. This section holds only what you cannot rely on when scoping a pilot: work blocked on something outside the platform, work still being built, and architecture that is declared direction rather than a commitment.

Rather than replacing existing hardware and software, MyForestPass becomes the central operational hub where information is brought together into a single woodland record. Much of this surface runs in production today. Where a line reads framework available, the import contract accepts the data but no vendor-specific connector ships; where it reads vendor connector planned, that integration does not exist yet.
The intent is that every forest, operation and consignment in a portfolio carries one connected, persistent evidence record — whatever system, device or contractor the underlying information came from.
The platform capability and the open import contract behind it are live. Individual vendor connectors are added one at a time, and none should be assumed present unless it is named above as available today.
The platform is pilot-ready across Forest Operations, Forest Intelligence and Governance & Evidence, with Continuous Cover Forestry as the flagship pathway. Pilot scope, onboarding and commercial terms are agreed per organisation.
