MyForestPass · a BranchX Limited platform

Product roadmap

MyForestPass is the digital passport and evidence platform for woodlands, with Continuous Cover Forestry as the flagship operational pathway available today. Everything below is labelled honestly: what runs in production now, what is planned, and what remains a future capability. Nothing on this page should be read as a feature you can use before it is marked In production today.

  1. Phase 1

    Open Import Platform

    Planned

One hardware-agnostic import contract for every data source. The adapter framework is built and shipped in this release; individual connectors follow one at a time.

    • Adapter framework and registryIn production today
    • CSV and delimited tables (validation and preview)In production today
    • GeoJSON boundaries and points (validation and preview)In production today
    • Shapefile, GPX and inventory-system connectorsPlanned
    • LAS / LAZ / PLY point-cloud ingestionFuture capability
    • Drone, handheld LiDAR and satellite connectorsFuture capability
  2. Phase 2

    AI Forest Intelligence

    Future capability

Analysis layered on top of imported evidence. Nothing here is implemented: MyForestPass produces no species, biomass or carbon figure today.

    • Species identificationFuture capability
    • Diameter, height and biomass estimationFuture capability
    • Carbon stock accountingFuture capability
    • Canopy and stand-structure analysisFuture capability
    • Regeneration and structural-diversity detectionFuture capability
    • Harvest planning supportFuture capability
  3. Phase 3

    MyForestPass Digital Twin

    Future capability

Each woodland becomes a living record: passport, stands, marking, scans, visits, harvests, carbon and certification held as one permanent evidence history.

    • Woodland and stand passportsIn production today
    • Tree-marking records and expert reviewIn production today
    • ForestPass Timeline as permanent historyIn production today
    • Harvest, carbon and certification recordsPlanned
    • LiDAR scans held against the twinFuture capability
    • Structural twin visualisationFuture capability
  4. Phase 4

    Field Application

    Planned

Offline-first field capture. The tree-marking field workflow already runs offline in the browser; a dedicated device application extends it.

    • Offline tree marking with queued syncIn production today
    • GPS capture and photograph uploadIn production today
    • Inspection and harvesting recordsPlanned
    • Direct scanner connectivityFuture capability

Hardware-agnostic by design

MyForestPass does not build scanners. It defines one import contract, and every source — a spreadsheet, a GIS layer, a drone provider, a handheld LiDAR unit, a national dataset — arrives through an adapter that satisfies it. Supporting a new vendor is a new adapter, not a change to the platform.

Verified by MyForestPass

A shared verification standard runs across the platform. Each badge is earned from records already held, and each one states the evidence behind it. A MyForestPass badge is a description of the record, not a certification, licence or statement of regulatory compliance.
