MyForestPass · a BranchX Limited platform

Product roadmap

MyForestPass is a lifelong Digital Forest Passport and integrated forest intelligence, evidence, operations and traceability platform, with Continuous Cover Forestry as the flagship scored pathway. Everything below is labelled honestly: what runs in production now, what is planned, and what remains a future capability. Nothing on this page should be read as a feature you can use before it is marked In production today.

  1. Phase 1

    Forest Operations and Governance

    Open Import Platform and interoperability

    In production today

One hardware-agnostic import contract for every data source, plus enterprise GIS interoperability. The adapter framework, GIS import and export, ArcGIS write-back and the read/write REST API are in production; a few file connectors remain.

  3. Phase 3

    Forest Intelligence

    In production today

Quantitative analysis layered on the evidence spine. The software is built and tested; the underlying models remain indicative until independently validated, and climate projections remain assumption-based until a licensed dataset is connected.

    • Intelligence job queue with deterministic integrityIn production today
    • Advanced Forest Alpha™ optimisation and scenario frontierBeta — scientific validation required
    • Climate Intelligence (scenario envelopes, adaptation options)Software complete — external dependency
    • Automated tree extraction and committed point-cloud evidenceBeta — scientific validation required
    • Ecosystem Services™ assessment with immutable evidenceBeta — scientific validation required
    • Branch Exchange™ — professional and organisation profilesIn production today
    • Branch Exchange™ — directory of foresters, contractors and researchersIn production today

  4. Phase 4

    Forest Twin™

    In production today

Survey missions, immutable survey epochs, the scanner import centre, the twin workspace and point-cloud processing are in production. Structural twin visualisation remains a future capability.

  5. Phase 5

    Field, telemetry and wallet

    In production today

Offline-first field capture, authenticated telemetry ingestion and the pass architecture run today. Wallet passes are built but cannot be installed on a device until Apple and Google signing credentials are configured.

    • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes (preview only until signing is configured)Software complete — external dependency
    • Dedicated mobile applicationPlanned
  6. Phase 6

    Management pathways

    In production today

Twelve management pathways are declared in a versioned registry and run the same Pathway Centre workflow — assess, plan, approve, deliver, monitor, evidence, report — each with its own assessment dimensions, evidence requirements and reporting. Continuous Cover Forestry is the only pathway with a dedicated scored methodology; the others run as beta or evidence-led workflows while their specialist models are developed.

    • Continuous Cover Forestry — dedicated pathway available (CCFPI calibration in progress)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Commercial Forestry — available, beta (Forest Alpha curves need local calibration)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Native Woodland — available, beta (evidence workflow, no scored index claimed)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Mixed Woodland — available, beta (evidence workflow, no diversity index claimed)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Estate Forestry — available, beta (evidence workflow, no estate index or valuation)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Agroforestry — available, beta (no validated productivity or interaction model)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Biodiversity — available, beta (indicative coefficients, local validation required)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Carbon — available, beta (modelled estimates only; no carbon credits issued, verified or traded)Beta — scientific validation required
    • Urban Forestry — available, beta (no QTRA/TRAQ risk model; protected-tree status is a declaration)Beta — scientific validation required

Hardware-agnostic by design

MyForestPass does not build scanners. It defines one import contract, and every source — a spreadsheet, a GIS layer, a drone provider, a handheld LiDAR unit, a national dataset — arrives through an adapter that satisfies it. Supporting a new vendor is a new adapter, not a change to the platform.

What a MyForestPass badge states

One shared standard runs across the platform. Each badge is derived from records already held and states the evidence behind it. A badge describes the record held and versioned — it is not a certification, licence, approval or statement of regulatory compliance.
